Comments

Only eligible paid members may submit posts, comments, questions, replies, images, or other content through the Nemechek Navigator community. Foundation members may have limited or read-only access and are not permitted to upload content.

When a member submits content, we may collect:

  • The information entered in the post, comment, or submission form
  • The member’s account name or profile information
  • The date and time of the submission
  • The member’s IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Information used to identify spam, abuse, or security threats

Content submitted to member discussion areas may be visible to other members who have permission to access those areas. Members should not post information they do not want other authorized community members to see.

Members are responsible for ensuring that they have the authority to share information concerning another person, including information concerning their child.

Media

Paid members may be permitted to upload photographs, screenshots, documents, or other media to designated areas of the community.

Before uploading an image, members should remove embedded location information, including EXIF GPS data. Other authorized members may be able to download an uploaded image and extract information embedded within it.

Members should avoid uploading:

  • Images that unnecessarily identify a child or another person
  • Medical records containing names, dates of birth, addresses, or account numbers
  • School records or other documents containing personally identifying information
  • Images containing location information
  • Any content they do not have permission to share

Cookies

Nemechek Navigator uses cookies and similar technologies where necessary to operate the website and member services.

Cookies may be used to:

  • Maintain a member’s logged-in session
  • Remember login and display preferences
  • Maintain security
  • Prevent fraud or unauthorized access
  • Remember whether a browser accepts cookies
  • Support website and community functionality

A temporary cookie may be placed when a visitor accesses a login page to determine whether the browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not ordinarily contain information that directly identifies the visitor and is removed when the browser is closed.

When a member logs in, cookies may be used to preserve login status and screen-display preferences. Login cookies may remain for a limited period, or longer when the member selects a “Remember Me” option. Logging out generally removes or invalidates login cookies.

Members can control or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may prevent login, account access, or other parts of the website from functioning correctly.

Embedded content from other websites

Pages within Nemechek Navigator may contain embedded content, such as videos, images, forms, documents, or other resources provided through another website.

Embedded content may behave as though the visitor had directly visited the website providing that content. The provider of the embedded content may collect technical information, use cookies, or record interactions in accordance with its own privacy practices.

We do not control the privacy practices of independently operated external websites. Members should review the privacy policy of any external service they choose to use.
